Job summary

Protecnium is building a Talent Pool of Land Surveyors for future opportunities across Canada. We seek professionals with field experience to join our network for upcoming positions across various locations and environments.

Responsibilities may include field surveying, layout, geometric control, data processing, and documentation, using Leica equipment, total stations, and GPS/GNSS. Availability for on-site work and Canadian work authorization are required.

Qualifications

  • Professional qualification in Surveying or related field.
  • 3–7 years of professional experience preferred.
  • Based in Canada with work authorization.

  • Perform field surveying and construction layout activities.
  • Establish and maintain survey control points.
  • Perform geometric control of earthworks, structures, and other construction elements.
  • Collect, process, verify, and manage survey data.
  • Operate total stations, levels, GPS/GNSS, and other surveying equipment.
  • Prepare survey drawings, as-built information, and technical documentation.
  • Coordinate surveying activities with engineering, construction, and field teams.
  • Support different phases of construction projects through accurate surveying and field data.

This initiative is aimed at surveying professionals interested in being considered for upcoming positions in different locations and environments throughout Canada. Opportunities may vary depending on project availability, location, scope, schedule, and specific requirements.

Summary

We are looking for Land Surveyors with strong field experience who are interested in joining our network of professionals for future opportunities across Canada.

Depending on the specific position, surveyors may participate in different types of construction and infrastructure works, performing field surveying, construction layout, geometric control, data processing, and technical documentation.

Main Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Previous field surveying experience.
  • Experience with construction surveying, layout, geometric control, and survey data management.
  • Proficiency with surveying software and CAD tools.
  • Experience operating total stations, levels, GPS/GNSS, and related surveying equipment.
  • Experience with Leica survey equipment is highly valued.
  • Availability for on-site work.
  • English level: B2 minimum; C1 preferred.
  • Candidates must be based in Canada and have the appropriate authorization to work in the country.
