Your Opportunity

Stantec Geomatics Ltd. is seeking an Ontario Land Surveyor to support the Markham office. This position involves supervising a dedicated team of survey technologists and technicians and liaising with clients and team leads from other disciplines. It is ideal for individuals who enjoy a dynamic work environment where they can manage multifaceted projects.

Your Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of project management, including:

1. Preparing proposals
2. Project research
3. Project computations
4. Supervising field and office staff
5. Reviewing and signing plans
6. Reporting and ensuring timely delivery of final returns

Your Capabilities and Credentials

• Valid Driver’s License
• Experience with GPS and total station survey equipment
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Solid understanding of statutory and regulatory requirements
• Eager to learn and develop professionally
• Self-motivated

Education and Experience

• Licensed Ontario Land Surveyor
• Experience with survey computational and least squares adjustment software (MicroSurvey and AutoCAD) is an asset
