Protecnium is an international consulting firm specializing in engineering and technical services (www.protecnium.com/en). We are currently looking for an Engineer Land Surveyor to join our team in Vancouver, British Columbia.

-Estimated length: 1 year- In general, when the project ends, we try to place the candidate in other projects to give him/her continuity.

- Responsibilities:

  • Layouts for building support.
  • Topographic measurements for as-builts.
  • Dimension control.
  • Topographic measurements.
  • Topographic scans.
  • Data processing, preparation of drawings and plans.

- Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience as a surveyor in civil works, structures, rails, heavy civil projects, or similar.
  • Experience with Trimble and AutoCAD software.
  • Proficiency with Total Station, Level, and GPS equipment.
  • Experience working for an international company expanding its operations.
  • Salary and benefits will be commensurate with experience.
  • 22 working days of vacation per year plus observed holidays.
  • 5 days of sick leave with 100% salary.
  • Accommodation and public transport bonuses included.
  • Company-provided phone.
  • Local health insurance paid 100% by the employer.

- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 10 hours daily (day shift). Three Saturdays per month, 8 hours (day shift).
