Job summary

Premier Project Consultants Ltd. is seeking a Land Development Coordinator to advance residential and commercial projects through the development lifecycle in Southwestern Ontario.

You will work with internal teams and external consultants to manage planning approvals, support design coordination, and contribute to strategic execution of development initiatives. A strong foundation in site planning, urban design, and municipal planning processes is essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary degree or diploma in Urban Planning, Urban Design, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related discipline.
• 3–5 years of progressive experience in land development, urban planning, or site design.
• Knowledge of municipal planning policies, zoning by-laws, and the development approvals process—experience in Southwestern Ontario preferred.
• Experience coordinating multi-disciplinary consultant teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the preparation of site plans and planning reports with consultants and internal teams.
• Manage components of the development approvals process (Official Plan amendments, Zoning By-laws, Draft Plans of Subdivision).
• Collaborate with planners, engineers, architects, and municipal staff to resolve issues.
• Assist in preparing presentations for municipal staff, committees, and the public.
• Maintain project schedules and budgets for soft costs; track deliverables and submissions.
• Contribute to feasibility analysis, market research, and site evaluation.
• Provide organized summaries and visuals to support decision-making.
