Job summary

Richcraft Homes in Ottawa is seeking a Land Development Servicing Coordinator to support residential and commercial projects from due diligence through municipal assumption and close-out.

You will coordinate site servicing, construction readiness, budgets and schedules, collaborating with directors, project managers, consultants and contractors to ensure safe, on-time delivery within approved drawings and standards.

Qualifications

• University degree or college diploma with 3–5 years in land development or civil construction.
• Strong ability to read engineering drawings, site plans, specs, contracts and permits with cost tracking experience.
• Familiarity with municipal regulations and MS 365; experience with AutoCAD a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in evaluating land acquisitions including development feasibility, costs and risks.
• Provide input on servicing strategies, budgets and cash flow.
• Assist in preparing development lands for construction and obtain approvals.
• Coordinate permits for tree clearing, earthworks and site preparation.
• Assist with tendering, contractor selection and procurement for enabling works.
• Monitor schedule, budget and cash flow to support timely decisions.
• Coordinate with consultants, utilities and internal teams to advance design and construction readiness.
• Review drawings and constructability impacts on cost and schedule.
• Participate in project meetings with stakeholders as required.
• Assist in maintaining budgets, schedules and project controls.
• Coordinate tender packages and contractor procurement.
• Maintain awareness of market conditions, labor/material availability, pricing and risks.
• Coordinate servicing and construction to manage sequencing and milestones.
• Resolve issues considering schedule, cost, quality and regulatory requirements.
• Review progress claims and change orders; escalate where needed.
• Track budgets, schedules and key project decisions.
• Coordinate handover from site servicing to building construction and completion.
• Oversee land-related construction activities including curbs, sidewalks, and utilities.
