Job summary

Arcadis is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer on a Project Engineer track in Hamilton, Ontario. You will lead technical delivery on land development projects, grow client relationships, and progressively assume project management responsibilities under senior mentorship.

You will coordinate grading, servicing, stormwater, and approvals while developing schedules, budgets, and staffing plans. This role emphasizes growth toward aPM role with guidance from senior leaders.

Qualifications

• Civil engineering degree required.
• P.Eng. licensed in Ontario or pursuing licensure with path clearly demonstrated.
• 5–8 years of relevant land development experience.
• Experience leading technical delivery of Site Plan, Subdivision and/or Condominium developments.
• Strong writing and client-facing presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical delivery of grading, servicing, stormwater, and land development projects.
• Coordinate with municipalities, clients, and consultants on approvals and design
• Prepare and review technical reports and construction drawings.
• Mentor EITs, Designers, and Technologists on design principles and professional practice.
• Support business development and client relationship management.
