The Ian Martin Group is hiring a Land Representative to join our client's Land & Public Awareness team. This role independently manages land access and surface land acquisition files in support of pipeline projects and operations, building strong relationships with landowners and stakeholders, and negotiating land agreements.

Candidates located in Edmonton, Calgary, or Regina are encouraged to apply; requires minimum 5 years in surface land or related areas, strong negotiation and communication

Competenze

• Minimum 5 years in surface land/real property/land administration
• Experience coordinating land access and resolving landowner issues
• Independent management of land-related files under deadlines
• Understanding of land processes in regulated environments (pipeline, energy infra)
• Ability to interpret land title and easement documents
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and land management systems
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills
• IRWA designation or licensing is preferred

Mansioni

• Manage land access and surface land acquisition files from planning through completion
• Negotiate and administer land agreements including rights-of-way and leases
• Build strong relationships with landowners, land users, government agencies and internal teams
• Identify land requirements, land use changes, and mitigate risks
• Negotiate settlements and resolve land-related issues and claims
• Coordinate external land consultants and appraisers as needed
• Provide land-related advice to internal teams and ensure documentation is clear and accessible
