Job description

We are recruiting Labourers to join our team for civil construction projects at various locations throughout Western Canada. In this role, you will support construction operations by performing a variety of physical labour tasks on civil projects. The ideal candidate has previous civil construction experience, is safety-focused, and thrives in a fast‑paced outdoor work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Perform general labour duties in support of civil construction projects
  • Assist with earthworks, grading, excavation, underground utility installation, road construction, and site preparation activities
  • Load, unload, move, and organize construction materials, tools, and equipment
  • Assist equipment operators, pipe crews, and other trades as required
  • Perform site cleanup and maintain a safe, organized work area
  • Safely operate hand and power tools as required
  • Follow directions from supervisors and work collaboratively with crew members to complete project tasks
  • Identify and report hazards or unsafe work conditions
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations
  • Perform physically demanding work in a variety of weather and site conditions
  • Complete other labour‑related duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Previous civil construction experience is required
  • Experience working on heavy civil projects, including earthworks, underground utilities, road construction, or site development is considered an asset
  • Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, carrying, bending, kneeling, climbing, and standing for extended periods
  • Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and willingness to work in a team environment
  • Ability to follow instructions and maintain a strong commitment to safety
  • Willingness to travel and work at various project locations throughout Western Canada
  • Must pass a pre‑employment drug and alcohol test, including cannabis
