Job summary

Park Paving Ltd. is seeking Construction Labourers to join our utility crew in Edmonton. These seasonal positions offer a competitive wage with benefits and opportunities for advancement.

Main duties include digging, shoveling, material placement, base material compaction, debris removal, and assisting crew with various labour tasks on road construction projects.

Qualifications

• Must have a driving record free of major infractions.
• Must pass a medical/fitness exam as a condition of employment.
• Seasonal, physically demanding labour in road construction.

Responsibilities

• Digging, shoveling, raking, hammering pins, sweeping, and operating small compaction gear.
• Place construction materials by hand or with equipment as directed.
• Set up and compact base materials to meet project specs.
• Remove rubble and debris from construction sites.
• Raise/lower catch basins, manholes, and water valves as required.

Park Paving Ltd. has been locally owned and operated for over 50 years as one of the largest road construction contractors in Edmonton, and we are looking to addCONSTRUCTION LABOURERS tto our utility crew who are looking to establish a career in the road construction industry.

These are seasonal positions that offer a competitive wage with benefits.

The primary duties for general labour could include but are not limited to:

• Digging, shoveling, raking, hammering pins, sweeping, operating small compaction gear (jumping jacks, tampers, etc.), using a concrete chop saw, and other labour activities associated with constructing the required project.
• Placement of construction materials (by hand or use of equipment)
• Setup, check, and compact granular base materials to meet construction specifications required for the project.
• Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.
• Raise and lower catch basins, manholes, and water valves, as required.

Pay Scale $23 - $26
