PTW Energy Services is seeking a Labourer for the Mod Yard team in Calgary, AB. The role focuses on maintaining a clean work area and ensuring safety protocols are followed for everyone accessing the site.

Responsibilities include hourly housekeeping, material handling, tarp checks, sign placements, and reporting damages. Welding skills may expand responsibilities, and basic forklift operation is available for certified applicants.

Qualifications

• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (standing for long periods, lifting heavy loads).
• Ability to follow instructions and operate hand tools and power tools.
• Teamwork and communication skills are essential.
• Experience on a construction site is preferred.
• CSA approved safety boots are required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains cleanliness and housekeeping in assigned areas hourly.
• Follows supervisor instructions to perform manual labour tasks.
• Checks crates are tarped, marked, and on proper dunnage.
• Places hazard warning signs for vehicles and passersby.
• Reports damages to materials/equipment to yard foreman.
• Ensures grid patterns are clearly marked and updated for visibility.
• Operates forklifts/loaders if certified; assists in shipping/receiving.
• Performs duties as assigned and complies with safety regulations.
• Welder skills may be utilized if present.

Role Summary:

We are seeking a Labourer to join our Mod Yard team in Calgary, AB. The role involves maintaining cleanlinessof the work area and ensures that all vehicle drivers who have access to the worksite follow all mandated safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensures housekeeping is completed on an hourly basis in assigned area(s).
• Follows instructions from supervisor(s) to perform manual labour tasks (e.g. stacking up goods).
• Checks outdoor crates have been properly tarped, marked, and are placed on the appropriate dunnage.
• Places hazard warning signs (e.g. signposts, cones) for vehicles and passersby.
• Reports any observed damages to materials and/or equipment to the yard foreman.
• Ensures that grid patterns are clear marked and updated for visibility.
• Operates the forklifts and loaders where needed, if properly certified.
• Assist in shipping and receiving when needed.
• Performs all other duties as assigned by supervisor, foreman or manager.
• Complies with standards and procedures of PTW's health and safety manual and Occupational Health and Safety regulations.
• There is a potential if the individual has welding skills for this to be utilized.

• Must have CSA approved safety boots.
