Job description

What will you do?

  • Learn and grow as a vital part of a team that cares about Reliance and its customers.
  • Organize and help inventory HVAC equipment and materials, including loading, unloading, scanning, and entering serialized equipment into the system.
  • Stage HVAC equipment and materials prior to installation.
  • Document and report stock quantities at all times to prevent work stoppages due to inadequate inventory.
  • Make deliveries as required by installation crews.
  • Load and unload at job sites as needed.
  • Assist installation crews with daily truck inspections and ensure regular truck maintenance.
  • Work closely with installation, sales, and WFP departments to ensure smooth and accurate flow of installation information, including model and serial numbers and other documentation for customer history files.
  • Refurbish water heaters and remove newer components from scrapped heaters.

  • Computer skills, including scanning, email, and data collection.
  • Ability to follow directions and work independently.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs (or more with assistance).
  • Valid class G driver’s license.
  • Grade 12 or equivalent.
  • Ability to work in all assigned areas.
  • Ability to operate a wheeler to move water heaters.
  • Valid class 5 driver’s license and a clean driving record.
