Tasks: Load, unload and transport construction materials. Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades. Clean and pile salvaged materials. Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages. Prepare and lay bricks, concrete blocks, structural tiles or other masonry units. Lay bricks, stone or similar materials to provide veneer facing. Construct and install prefabricated masonry units. Cut and trim bricks and concrete blocks to specification using hand and power tools. Lay bricks or other masonry units to build residential or commercial chimneys and fireplaces. Restore, clean or paint existing masonry structures. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses: Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate. Fall Arrest Protection Training Course. Working at heights training. Occupational Health and Safety Certificate. Construction specialization: Industrial, commercial and institutional. Transportation/travel information: Own vehicle. Valid driver's licence.
