Job summary

Manotas Organics and Latin Foods in Toronto is seeking a Labourer for food and beverage processing. The role requires a self-motivated individual with strong interpersonal skills and flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, to start as soon as possible.

Permanent full-time employment is offered. The candidate will operate processing machinery, assist with packaging, and maintain cleanliness to uphold food safety standards in a fruit/vegetable processing plant.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English.
• No standard education requirement; 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in related field.
• Able to lift up to 20 lb (9 kg) and handle weights.
• Willing to work early morning to evenings and weekends.
• Able to work in hot and cold/refrigerated environments.

Responsibilities

• Measure and dump ingredients into hoppers of mixing and grinding machines.
• Manually pack goods into bags, boxes, or containers.
• Feed and unload processing machines.
• Inspect products and packaging for basic quality defects.
• Clean machines and surrounding work areas.
