Job summary

Blackline Civil is seeking a Labourer to support underground utility construction, including water, sewer, and storm systems. You will work with operators, pipelayers, and supervisors to assist trenching and pipe installation on projects across Alberta.

The role emphasizes physical work outdoors, reliability, and the ability to follow directions as part of a team, with opportunities for growth within the civil division.

Qualifications

• Previous construction or labour experience.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work.

Responsibilities

• Assist with trenching and excavation work.
• Help install water, sewer, and storm pipes.
• Load/unload materials and tools.
• Use hand tools (shovels, tampers, saws, etc.).
• Maintain site cleanliness and organization.
• Direct traffic or equipment when required.
• Follow instructions from Topman, Foreman, and operators.

About the Role

We are looking for a hardworking Labourer to assist with underground utility construction, including water, sewer, and storm systems. You’ll work alongside operators, pipelayers, and supervisors to support trenching and pipe installation.
