Job summary

Park Paving Ltd. in Edmonton is seeking EXPERIENCED LABOURERS to join our BASE DIVISION for the 2026 construction season. This seasonal position offers a competitive wage with benefits.

Primary duties include site preparation, digging, shoveling, material placement, and assisting crew with tasks while upholding safety and productivity. A valid driver’s license and the ability to pass a medical exam are required.

Responsibilities

• Digging, shoveling, raking, hammering pins, sweeping, operating small compaction gear, and using a concrete chop saw as part of construction activities.
• Placement of construction materials by hand or with equipment.
• Set up and compact granular base materials to specifications.
• Remove rubble and debris from construction sites.
• Raise and lower catch basins, manholes, and water valves as needed.
• Ability to work long hours in a physically demanding environment.

Park Paving Ltd. has been locally owned and operated for over 50 years as one of the largest road construction contractors in Edmonton, and we are looking for EXPERIENCED LABOURERS to join our BASE DIVISION for the 2026 construction season.

This is a seasonal position that offers a competitive wage with benefits.

LABOURER'S primary duties will include but are not limited to:

• Performs general labourer work: digging, shoveling, raking, hammering pins, sweeping, operating small compaction gear (jumping jacks, tampers, etc.), using a concrete chop saw, and other labour activities associated with constructing the required project
• Placement of construction materials (by hand or use of equipment)
• Setup, check, and compact granular base materials to meet construction specifications required for the project
• Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
• Raise and lower catch basins, manholes, and water valves, as required
• Able to work long hours
