Job summary

Brandt is seeking a Labourer in Stettler, AB to support our Agriculture (John Deere) service team. You will help clean and prepare equipment, assist technicians, and contribute to shop productivity. This entry point role offers hands-on learning and apprenticeship opportunities.

You will work in a busy yard and shop, perform detailing after repairs, and help maintain the work environment while upholding safety and teamwork. Training is provided and growth is encouraged.

Qualifications

  • Interest in pursuing an apprenticeship.
  • Demonstrate safe and efficient workplace practices.
  • Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Detailing agricultural equipment after repairs.
  • Maintaining the wash bay equipment and cleanliness.
  • Cleaning parts and components.
  • Cleaning and maintaining the yard and shop.
  • Assisting in dismantling heavy equipment.
  • Organizing yard equipment and dealership premises.
  • Some inventory maintenance.
  • Assisting shop personnel to increase productivity.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Description

Brandt is currently seeking a Labourer for our Stettler Agriculture (John Deere) location. This position is responsible for assisting in the agriculture service department. Duties will include, but are not limited to, cleaning agricultural equipment and the shop, and working with technicians. The labourer will play a key role in assisting the other personnel fulfill their duties and increase overall shop productivity. This position is an entry point for someone interested in pursuing an apprenticeship.

What You Will Be Responsible For
  • Detailingagricultural equipment once the repairs have been completed
  • Maintaining the wash bay equipment and the cleanliness of the wash bay
  • Cleaning parts and components
  • Cleaning and maintaining the yard and shop
  • Assisting in the dismantling of heavy equipment and components
  • Organizing equipment in the yard and maintaining dealership premises (grading, leveling snow removal)
  • Some inventory maintenance
  • Assisting the other shop personnel with fulfilling their duties and increase overall shop productivity
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Capable of working under minimum amount of supervision
