Responsibilities

  • Detailing agricultural equipment after repairs.
  • Maintaining wash bay equipment and cleanliness.
  • Cleaning parts and components.
  • Cleaning and maintaining yard and shop.
  • Assisting in dismantling heavy equipment.
  • Organizing equipment in the yard and dealership premises.
  • Some inventory maintenance.
  • Assisting shop personnel to increase productivity.

Job description

Brandt is currently seeking a Labourer for our Red Deer Agriculture location. This position is responsible for assisting in the agriculture service department. Duties will include, but are not limited to, cleaning agricultural equipment and the shop, and working with technicians. The labourer will play a key role in assisting the other personnel to fulfill their duties and increase overall shop productivity. This position is an entry point for someone interested in pursuing an apprenticeship.

What You Will Be Responsible For
  • Detailing agricultural equipment once the repairs have been completed
  • Maintaining the wash bay equipment and the cleanliness of the wash bay
  • Cleaning parts and components
  • Cleaning and maintaining the yard and shop
  • Assisting in the dismantling of heavy equipment and components
  • Organizing equipment in the yard and maintaining dealership premises (grading, leveling snow removal)
  • Some inventory maintenance
  • Assisting the other shop personnel with fulfilling their duties and increase overall shop productivity

  • Capable of meeting the physical demands of the heavy duty equipment environment (ie: lifting up to 50 pounds)
  • Capable of working under minimum amount of supervision
