Job summary

Kenny U-Pull in La Prairie, QC is seeking dedicated Labourers to join our vehicle recycling team. Work hours are Monday to Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., with hands-on duties dismantling and depolluting vehicles and preparing parts for resale.

You'll use hand and power tools, lift up to 50 lbs, and thrive in a fast-paced outdoor environment. We offer competitive pay from $20/hour, a semi-annual bonus, tuition assistance, vacation, benefits, and exclusive employee discounts.

Job Description

We are currently looking for motivated individuals to join our team in La Prairie, Quebec, from Monday to Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. As a Labourer, you will play a key role in our daily operations by participating in the vehicle dismantling and recycling process. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about automobiles and enjoy hands-on work.

You will be responsible for:

• Safely dismantling and depolluting vehicles using hand and power tools
• Preparing vehicles for resale and/or display in the yard
• Removing wheels, rims, and tires
• Cleaning, testing, and sorting batteries for resale
• Sorting and organizing recovered parts for inventory
• Maintaining a clean and organized work environment

Qualifications

• You have experience working as a Labourer
• You know how to use hand and power tools
• You work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• You have good physical stamina and are able to lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs
• You are comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
