Job summary

Kenny U-Pull in Barrie, ON is seeking a part-time Labourer to support dismantling and recycling of vehicles, with 24 hours per week and weekend availability.

As a member of the Kenny U-Pull team, you will perform dismantling, depolluting, wheel removal, battery handling, and yard organization while following safety practices, for an exciting hands-on role in the AIM family.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a general labour or similar role.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift 50lbs.
• Proficient in using hand tools and power tools.
• Reliable and willing to learn different areas of the business.
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Dismantling and depolluting vehicles safely using hand tools and power tools.
• Preparing vehicles for resale and/or display in the yard.
• Dismounting wheels, rims and tires.
• Cleaning, testing, and sorting batteries for resale.
• Sorting and organizing salvaged parts for inventory.
• Maintaining a clean and organized yard and work environment.

Job Description

This is a part time position that requires 24 hours/week and availability to work on weekends.

We are currently seeking a motivated individual to join our team in Barrie, ON. As a Labourer, you will play a vital role in our daily operations by assisting in the dismantling and recycling process of vehicles. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about automobiles, enjoy hands-on work.

What you’re responsible for:
