Onni is seeking a Construction Labourer to join our team on a casual basis across Lower Mainland sites including Downtown Vancouver, Burnaby, Richmond and Pitt Meadows. Shifts include mornings, afternoons and weekends.

You will assist with lifting materials, keep sites clean, and follow safety regulations. Responsibilities include operating basic tools under supervision, preparing sites, and reporting safety concerns to supervisors to help meet project timelines.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and lift heavy objects regularly.
• Basic understanding of construction processes, tools and materials preferred but not mandatory.
• Punctuality and a strong work ethic.
• Strict adherence to safety protocols and proactive hazard identification.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including mornings, afternoons, and weekends.
• Team player who follows instructions from supervisors or project managers.
• Good verbal communication skills to convey information and report issues.

Responsibilities

• Assist with lifting, carrying, and moving construction materials, tools, and equipment.
• Clean and prepare construction sites by removing debris, clearing obstacles, and setting up necessary equipment.
• Operate basic hand tools, power tools and construction machinery under supervision.
• Maintain cleanliness of the job site by sweeping and disposing of waste materials properly.
• Follow all safety protocols, guidelines, and regulations to minimize accidents and injuries.
• Work closely with the construction team, following instructions and assisting as needed to meet project timelines.
• Report any safety concerns, incidents or issues promptly to the supervisor or project manager.
