Job summary

Chandos is seeking Labourers to join our construction site operations. The role focuses on safety, reliability, and physical endurance, supporting skilled trades and site supervisors to keep work moving smoothly.

You will follow safety protocols, assist carpenters and foremen, and handle tools and formwork as needed, with outdoor work in all weather and opportunities to grow with a 100% employee-owned company culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of construction labour experience (preferred).
• Knowledge of workplace safety and safe lifting/handling procedures.
• Valid driver’s licence and clean abstract (preferred).
• Able to lift, carry, and move materials.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather.
• Willing to learn and take direction.
• Reliable, punctual, and safety‑conscious.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work out of town when required.

Job Description

We’re looking for Labourers who show up ready to work - people who are focused, reliable, and able to handle the physical demands of a construction site. If you take pride in doing the job right and aren’t afraid to break a sweat, you’ll fit in well here.

This is a hands-on role supporting construction site operations. You’ll work alongside skilled trades and site supervisors to keep things moving safely and efficiently.

Physical Demands

• Heavy lifting (up to 50lbs), working at heights, strenuous labour (fit testing)
