The Dufresne Group is seeking a Labour Relations Specialist to support respectful, productive relationships between leaders, team members and union partners at our Mississauga location.

You will advise on collective agreements, policy application, and grievance resolution, with travel 10–20% in Canada. Our team offers a comprehensive benefits plan, retirement savings and opportunities for development.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of hands-on labour relations in a unionized environment.
• Experience interpreting collective agreements and managing grievances.
• Strong judgment and objective analysis with practical recommendations.
• Knowledge of Ontario labour and employment legislation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; clear grievance responses.
• Maintain confidential records and travel 10–20% domestically.

Responsabilités

• Support interpretation and consistent application of collective agreements and policies.
• Advise leaders on labour relations and employee relations matters.
• Support the grievance process: review concerns, gather info, prepare responses.
• Assist with workplace investigations and resolution of concerns.
• Build relationships with union reps, leaders and team members.
• Coach leaders on documentation and consistent practices.
• Support labour relations meetings and follow-up actions.
• Identify recurring issues and share recommendations with HR.
• Maintain confidential records and prepare reports.
• Travel within Canada approximately 10–20%.
