Ornge is hiring an Employee and Labour Relations Specialist to support practical ER/IR matters in a highly unionized environment. You will advise leaders and employees, manage grievances, and interpret collective agreements while coordinating investigations with HR partners.

The role requires strong analytical skills, discretion, and excellent communication to foster a respectful and compliant workplace across Ontario. Hybrid work and competitive rewards are offered.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Labour Relations, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, or related field.
• Bachelor's degree in HR/IR or related discipline is an asset.
• CHRP designation, or progress toward completion, is considered an asset.

Responsabilités

• Provide guidance to leaders and employees on ER/IR matters including collective agreement interpretation and performance management.
• Support administration of multiple collective agreements across the organization.
• Assist with grievance management, investigations, and documentation.
• Support collective bargaining activities through research, data analysis, and coordination.
• Coordinate workplace investigations involving harassment, human rights concerns, and conduct issues.
• Maintain confidential records for investigations, grievances, and labour relations.
