Job summary

Quality Talent Group's client, a global building automation and industrial tech company, is seeking a hands-on general laborer to support outdoor site operations in Ponoka, Alberta. The role involves basic site cleaning, debris removal, and assisting with routine equipment maintenance.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, at least 1 year of laborer experience, a valid driver’s license, and solid physical fitness. Training and safety protocols will be provided on site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1 year general laborer experience.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying conditions.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Good manual dexterity and physical fitness.

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare sites and plants by clearing debris.
• Clean around operating plant areas with basic tools.
• Participate in mechanical maintenance using hand tools.
• Monitor site for spills and report issues to management.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment as required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Cleans and prepares sites and plants by removing trees and debris
• Cleans under and around operating plant using shovels, brooms and other manual devices
• Participates in mechanical maintenance activities that may require the use of hand tools and equipment
• Monitors plant for material spills and mechanical failure and report to site management
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment as required
