Job summary

Dalcon Constructors Ltd is seeking a Laborer to contribute to our construction teams. You will report on time, assist the superintendent, and prepare sites by cleaning and setting up materials. You should be comfortable with hand digging, trenching, and basic site tasks under supervision.

You must be 18+, know hand and power tools, and value safety and quality work. Transportation and flexibility are essential for supporting projects and travel as needed.

As a Laborer for Dalcon Constructors Ltd, you will contribute to our team by:

What you will bring to the role:

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Knowledge and use of hand and power tools
• High regard for safety and pride for quality of work
• Self-motivated and a team player
• Able to multi-task, show initiative and ask questions as needed
• Able to follow directions to ensure completion of daily tasks
• Have a high degree of flexibility in a changing environment
• Must have reliable transportation
• Strength to perform average lifting of up to 50 pounds, from the ground to above head
• Should be able to navigate through the worksite on a daily basis
• Occasionally climbs up and down ladders, scaffolding, and stairs. Must be able to work in extreme temperatures, in confined spaces, high places, and under pressure.
• Experience operating construction equipment (i.e., telehandler), will be considered an asset.

The salary range for this position is between $21.98 and $31.97 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

This position may require travel to remote communities as needed, remuneration is as per collective agreement for said travel.
