Our company needs a full-time Lab Technician to operate under the supervision of our Lab Manager and to undertake a variety of laboratory procedures of a technical nature.The successful candidate will be responsible for testing in-service petroleum-based oils and in-service coolants/antifreezes to validate wear levels, contamination, and additive components.Ideally, we are looking for a professional with experience in lab environment that can optimize lab procedures and succeed in producing reliable results.

Responsibilities and Duties

·Perform quality control tests in the lab equipment.

·Assist with testing and calibrating lab equipment in preparation for specific tasks.

·Sample preparation prior to them being run in lab equipment.

·Conduct experiments under defined conditions to verify test data.

·Disposal of tested sample in appropriate manner.

·Retrieve and prepare reports for laboratory management.

·Recognize and report any equipment or sample issues.

Qualifications and Skills

·Capable of prioritizing tasks to meet daily and weekly goals.

·Ability to communicate and work in teams effectively.

·Working knowledge of MS Office

·Ability to work simi-autonomously

·1+ year of laboratory experience (Preferred)

·Associates degree in science field (Preferred)
