A leading educational institution in the Metro Vancouver area seeks a temporary part-time Laboratory Facilitator for Chemistry. In this role, you will guide students in proper lab procedures, prepare assignments, and foster an encouraging learning environment. With effective communication skills and a solid understanding of laboratory operations, you will ensure smooth lab instruction. The position requires a commitment to confidentiality and offers a supportive atmosphere.
$32.04 per hour (with wage increments to a max of $36.06 per hour). Salary and wage increments are in accordance with the Collective Agreement.
You're passionate about chemistry and you're a technical expert in laboratory procedures, but it’s your passion for helping others deepen their understanding of the science that sets you apart. Guiding students through proper lab procedures, preparing engaging assignments, and creating an encouraging environment where students are motivated to learn is where you thrive. With your organizational skills and your ability to lead a classroom, you ensure smooth operations of lab instruction and demonstration.
