Charles River Laboratories, Inc. in Senneville, QC seeks a Laboratory Clerk for the Necropsy team to perform tissue sampling and support the smooth running of our pre-clinical studies.

Responsibilities include preparing materials for necropsies, maintaining inventory, shipping pathology material, and keeping work areas clean. Schedule is daytime, Monday to Friday, with possible weekend overtime; permanent full-time (minimum 37.5 hrs/week) with benefits.

Job Overview

As a Laboratory Clerk for our Necropsy team located in Senneville, you will mainly be responsible for performing support tasks related to the sampling of tissues. Your success will ensure the smooth running of our research, as well as the integrity of our pre-clinical studies.

In this role, primary responsibilities include:

• Prepare the required material needed to perform necropsies
• Ensure the appropriate inventory of laboratory supplies
• Shipping of pathology material (preparation of material, sending, and packing)
• Ensure cleanliness of work areas and equipment

If you possess the following qualifications, we will train you in the rest:

• High school degree or equivalent
• Good leadership skills
• Ability to work independently
• Able to work physically
• Understanding of written English is mandatory. Bilingualism French and English is preferable

Role Specific Information

• Transportation: We offer a shuttle service from Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue train station and John Abbott College to the Senneville site. In addition, the site is accessible from the Anse-à-l’Orme REM station via STM bus services. Free parking. Electric vehicle charging station
• Annual bonus based on performance plan
• Schedule: Daytime Monday to Friday. Depending on the needs, you may have to do overtime on weekends
• Permanent full-time position as of the hiring – minimum 37.5hrs per week
