Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field required
• Excellent verbal and written English communication
• Proficiency with MS Office and basic software
• HACCP knowledge is an asset
• Ability to read diagrams, schematics and manuals for procedures
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed
• Comfort with working in conditions typical for a lab environment

Responsibilities

• Draw and analyse samples of raw materials to ensure specifications
• Draw and analyse finished products to verify compliance with specs
• Draw and analyse wastewater samples to ensure permit compliance
• Support production with non-routine testing as needed
• Assist in QA programs and regulatory audits
• Maintain and order lab equipment and supplies
• Work shift hours and overtime as needed to meet production demands
• Contribute to a positive team culture and company values
