Job summary

McGill University is seeking a part-time lab support assistant. The candidate will help with laboratory experiments, cell culturing, and routine testing, while keeping the workspace clean and organized. Data entry for inventory and distribution of shipments are also required.

Preference is given to McGill students with prior lab experience. English communication is required, and work authorization in Canada is necessary for this Quebec campus position.

Position Summary

Assist with laboratory inventory by cataloging materials and equipment. Entering data into inventory databases, updating protocols and datasheets, tracking and distributing laboratory shipments, and ensuring daily opening and securing of the laboratory area.

Education & Experience

High school diploma with little or no experience. Preference will be given to candidates with previous experience in research and/or laboratory settings. Priority will be given to students enrolled at McGill University. Before applying, please note that to work at McGill University, you must be both authorized to work in Canada and willing to work in the province of Quebec at the campus where the position is based / located. Knowledge of English: McGill University is an English-language university where day to day duties may require English communication both verbally and in writing.
