Charles River Laboratories in Saint-Constant, QC is seeking an Animal Care Clerk to support our Husbandry facility. You will help safeguard the wellbeing of laboratory animals by maintaining clean living spaces and handling animals with care.

You will join a team dedicated to high welfare standards, with a 40-hour, full-time schedule Monday to Friday 6:00 am–2:15 pm. The role offers on-site duties, free parking, and potential weekend shifts or overtime as needed.

Competenze

• AEP in Animal Care (asset);
• Able to work physically (lift up to 20-25 kg, walk, stand, stoop, etc.);
• Have a good team spirit;
• Passion for animals.

Mansioni

• Ensure the cleanliness of the living environment of the animals according to the highest standards of welfare in the industry (clean the animal rooms and the cages).
• Handle animals with care.
• Participate in the physical/social activities of the animals.
