Job summary

Northern Health Region, Manitoba is seeking a licensed practical nurse to join our medical team in a hospital or clinic setting. You will provide nursing care within your scope of practice, perform sterile dressings, monitor patient progress, and work with the healthcare team to evaluate interventions.

The role requires College/CEGEP education, eligibility for provincial licensure, IV therapy and BCLS certification, and offers relocation support and benefits as part of a permanent, day-shift

Qualifications

  • Must be eligible for licensure as a practical nurse in the province/territory of work.
  • IV therapy certification preferred.
  • BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) certification required or expected.

Responsibilities

  • Apply aseptic techniques including sterile dressing.
  • Conduct specimen collection.
  • Take vital signs.
  • Provide nursing services within defined scope of practice to patients based on assessment and care planning.
