Job summary

Career Junction is seeking a capable Licensed Practical Nurse to join a nursing home setting in Saskatchewan. You will administer medications, monitor patients, take vital signs and support daily personal care.

Education as a practical nurse with a certificate or diploma is required; eligibility for provincial licensure, CPR and First Aid certificates; and proven accuracy, dependability and clear communication with patients and families.

Qualifications

• Diploma/certificate in Practical Nursing or related program.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and monitor treatments.

Tasks :

• Administer medications.
• Conduct specimen collection.
• Ensure infection control.
• Monitor nutritional intake.
• Observe and record medication's therapeutic and side effects .
