Job summary

Knights On Guard is seeking a reliable Security Guard for cemetery locations in Ontario. The role involves patrolling grounds, deterring unauthorized activities, and ensuring the safety of visitors and staff while safeguarding the premises.

The ideal candidate has at least one year of security experience, a valid Ontario Security Guard license, a Class G driver’s license with a clean abstract, and strong English communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year security experience is required.
• Must be 25 years of age for insurability.
• Ontario Security Guard License required.
• Class G driver’s license with clean driving abstract.
• Excellent English language and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Patrol the cemetery grounds regularly to maintain security and deter unauthorized activities
• Secure all entry and exit points, monitoring access to the cemetery
• Assist visitors with directions, information, and any other needs they may have
• Lock up designated areas of the location according to post orders
• Respond promptly and appropriately to emergencies, contacting relevant authorities when necessary
• Create detailed incident reports and elevate issues to upper management as required
• Follow all directives and instructions provided by KOG Security management
• Maintain a respectful and solemn demeanor appropriate for the cemetery environment
