Job summary

Unity Health Toronto in Toronto, ON is seeking a Research Coordinator II to lead day-to-day coordination of research activities within the Knowledge Synthesis team. You will build study infrastructure, manage data and collaborate with diverse stakeholders to ensure ethical standards and rigorous methods.

Responsibilities include conducting KS projects, data preparation, drafting proposals and reports, disseminating findings, and mentoring junior staff in a fast-paced hospital research setting.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree and 3 years of relevant experience.
• MSc and/or PhD in a health-related discipline is an asset.
• GCP TCPS CORE 2 preferred and completed within 2 weeks of hire.
• Familiarity with KS methods incl. scoping/rapid/systematic reviews.
• Experience with KS software (DistillerSR) and reference managers.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support KS projects: scoping reviews, rapid reviews, systematic reviews with meta-analyses, environmental scans, and Delphi studies.
• Prepare data sets, statistical plans, and reports.
• Coordinate projects with limited direction and provide strategic guidance.
• Assist PI in initiation of new research and grant/proposal development.
• Disseminate research findings to knowledge users and policymakers.
• Write manuscripts and prepare tables/figures; submit revisions.
• Develop processes, tools and resources to support team members.
