Job summary

Brookfield Infrastructure Group is building a trusted knowledge foundation to underpin AI across the business. The role focuses on designing data structures, metadata standards, and a scalable taxonomy, while working with engineers to implement Snowflake pipelines and AI-enabled search.

The ideal candidate bridges business needs with technical delivery, communicates effectively with senior stakeholders, and helps drive platform adoption across functions.

Qualifications

• Experience with Snowflake, SQL, Python and AI development tools is a plus.

Job Description

Purpose

• Build and operate the Infrastructure Data Foundation as the trusted knowledge platform underpinning AI across the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and evolve the data foundation, Brookfield Infrastructure’s internal knowledge platform, including information architecture, metadata standards, semantic layer and taxonomy.
• Work directly with the engineering team to build Snowflake data structures, ingestion pipelines and AI‑enabled search/retrieval capabilities.
• Own the quality of the knowledge platform by ensuring information is complete, current, well‑catalogued and appropriately permissioned.
• Establish governance processes and work with business functions to drive discipline around document ownership, metadata, permissions and lifecycle management across all functions.
• Monitor platform usage, identify opportunities to improve adoption and retire low‑value AI applications.
• Help businesses identify AI use cases and assist with early prototyping.

Comp Range: $125k to $150k CAD
