Job summary

Speeders Calgary Chinook is seeking a kitchen team member to prepare and cook recipes, maintain clean and organized workstations, and support food prep and deliveries in a fast-paced setting.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of cooking experience, can handle multiple stations, and stay professional under pressure while lifting up to 50 lbs and working nights and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• 1 year cooking experience or more.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to work nights/weekends as needed.
• Able to stay composed in stressful situations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook recipes following portion and quality standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen at all times.
• Assist with food prep, cutting, and restocking throughout the shift.
• Support dishwashing duties when needed.
• Follow food safety and hygiene standards.
• Communicate effectively with front-of-house and kitchen team.
• Assist with receiving and storing deliveries.
• Complete other kitchen tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
• Work night shifts as needed (up to 12:00 AM on Fridays and Saturdays).
