Job summary

Milestones Whistler is seeking a skilled kitchen supervisor to lead a team in a fast-paced restaurant environment in Whistler, BC. You will supervise cooks and kitchen helpers, requisition supplies, and ensure quality and safety standards are met across all service stages.

Experience in kitchen management, knowledge of culinary genres, and ability to train staff are essential. This role includes scheduling duties, maintaining records, and enforcing health and safety regulations in daily

• Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food.
• Requisition food and kitchen supplies; estimate ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation.
• Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage.
• Establish work schedules; train staff in duties, sanitation and safety procedures.
• Must have knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres.
• Ensure health and safety regulations are followed.
