The Salvation Army Winnipeg Centre of Hope is seeking an Assistant Cook/Kitchen Helper to assist the Cook in preparing meals, including dietary options, in a ministry kitchen setting. This role emphasizes following health and safety procedures, working within donated-food policies, and supporting meal service operations.
Requirements include High School completion and a cooking course; up to three months of related kitchen experience is acceptable.

NOTE: Not all incumbents perform all of the duties described above but perform a similar range of duties. The above responsibilities must be performed in keeping with The Salvation Army’s Mission, Vision and Values, in a professional manner, upholding our code of conduct.
The successful job applicant will have completed High School (plus required cooking course). NOTE: An alternative level of education and experience may be acceptable.
The target hiring range for this position is $16.52 to $16.52 with a maximum of $16.52. Placement in the salary range will be based on factors such as market conditions, internal equity, and candidate experience, skills, and qualifications relevant to the role.
