Job summary

Masala Kingdom in Canada is seeking a kitchen helper to perform cleaning and basic food preparation tasks in a fast-paced setting. The role requires cleaning tables, replenishing supplies, and handling basic food prep using manual and electric equipment at the establishment’s location.

Candidates must have a secondary school certificate and 1 to less than 7 months of experience. This is full-time permanent work with no remote option, starting as soon as possible.

Responsibilities

• Clear and clean tables, trays and chairs.
• Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas.
• Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice and trim foodstuffs.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances and equipment.
• Receive, unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards and other storage areas.
• Remove kitchen garbage and trash.
• Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors.
• Wash, peel and cut vegetables and fruit.
