Job summary

Walkers Restaurant in Windsor, Nova Scotia is seeking a dependable dishwasher to join our kitchen team. This permanent, full-time role offers 30 hours of work per week and an English-language work environment.

You will operate dishwashers, sanitize and wash items, scour pots and pans, and help maintain a clean and organized kitchen while assisting with receiving and storing supplies in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Education: Secondary school graduation certificate.
• Experience: Experience an asset.

Responsibilities

• Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware and flatware.
• Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand.
• Scour pots and pans.
• Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice and trim foodstuffs.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances and equipment.
• Receive, unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards and other storage areas.
• Remove kitchen garbage and trash.
• Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors.
• Wash, peel and cut vegetables and fruit.
