Job summary

Freshslice Pizza in Whitehorse, Yukon is seeking a friendly team member to assist in busy counter and kitchen operations. You will help with food prep, take orders, package take-out, and maintain clean service areas. No degree is required and training is provided to learn standard operating procedures.

Shifts include early morning, evening, and weekends, with typical work weeks around 35–40 hours. Strong customer focus and teamwork are valued for success in this role.

Qualifications

• No degree, certificate or diploma required.
• No experience required; training provided.
• Experience in customer service is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Bring clean dishes, flatware and other items to serving areas and set tables
• Clear and clean tables, trays and chairs
• Keep records of the quantities of food used
• Package take-out food
• Portion and wrap foods
• Prepare, heat and finish simple food items
• Serve customers at counters or buffet tables
• Take customers' orders
• Clean and sanitize kitchen including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances and equipment
• Receive, unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards and other storage areas
• Remove kitchen garbage and trash
• Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors
• Wash, peel and cut vegetables and fruit
