Job summary

Kujira Sushi Bar and Grill in Whitecourt, AB is seeking a kitchen helper who is enthusiastic and has good interpersonal skills to support food prep and service. You will package take-out, clean and sanitize surfaces, and assist with storage and receiving supplies. This is permanent, full-time work with a wage of $16.00 per hour for 40 hours per week.

No formal education is required and training will be provided. You must be fluent in English.

• The candidate will be responsible for packaging take-out food.
• The candidate must clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cabinets, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
• The candidate must be capable of handling and storing cleaning products.
• The candidate will be responsible for receiving, unpacking and storing supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards and other storage areas.
• The candidate will be responsible for removing kitchen garbage and trash regularly.
• The candidate must sharpen kitchen knives.
• The candidate will be responsible for sweeping, mopping, washing and polishing floors.
• The candidate will be responsible for washing, peeling and cutting vegetables and fruits.

Job Requirements
