Job summary

JobsMedia.io is hiring for a kitchen helper in Invermere, BC, Canada. The role is permanent and requires 35 hours per week of work. You will perform essential kitchen duties and support food service operations.

English is the working language; prior experience is an asset. Training and mentorship may be provided as part of a youth employment program.

Qualifications

• Secondary school graduation certificate required.
• Experience in food service is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize kitchen including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances and equipment.
• Receive, unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards and other storage areas.
• Remove kitchen garbage and trash.
• Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors.
• Wash, peel and cut vegetables and fruit.
