Job summary

Humpty’s Big Plate Dine-In in Grande Prairie, AB is seeking a Kitchen helper. This permanent, full-time position offers 32 hours per week at $15.50 per hour, with two vacancies.

The successful candidate should start as soon as possible and be self-motivated with good interpersonal skills. You will clean and sanitize the kitchen, handle cleaning products, receive and store supplies, remove garbage, sharpen knives, sweep and mop floors, and wash and cut vegetables and fruits.

• Training will be provided to the selected candidate.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize the kitchen, surfaces, cabinets and equipment.
• Handle and store cleaning products.
• Receive, unpack and store supplies in storage areas.
• Remove kitchen garbage and trash regularly.
• Sharpen kitchen knives.
• Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors.
• Wash, peel and cut vegetables and fruits.

• The candidate must clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cabinets, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
• The candidate must be capable of handling and storing cleaning products.
• The candidate will be responsible for receiving, unpacking and storing supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards and other storage areas.
• The candidate will be responsible for removing kitchen garbage and trash regularly.
• The candidate must sharpen kitchen knives.
• The candidate will be responsible for sweeping, mopping, washing and polishing floors.
• The candidate will be responsible for washing, peeling and cutting vegetables and fruits.
