Overview

Gerhard's Kitchen, Bath & Lighting Store is seeking a creative, energetic, and ambitious sales and design professional to develop and build relationships with new and existing customers. You will deliver a design experience that reflects the Gerhard's brand, with a keen eye for detail to enhance contractor and retail showroom sales experiences.

Responsibilities

1. Drive sales to meet and exceed targets set by the Store Manager.
2. Conduct daily follow-up on outstanding quotes.
3. Develop repeat sales, new relationships, and future business opportunities.
4. Provide outstanding customer service by greeting and acknowledging every customer, maintaining professionalism at all times.
5. Follow-up on all sales to ensure customer satisfaction.
6. Maintain a well-organized and aesthetically pleasing environment.
7. Administer the sales process, including processing quotes and sales paperwork.
8. Coordinate with vendors and shippers to track orders and ensure quality service.
9. Enhance sales skills and product knowledge through internal and vendor resources.
10. Assist with store maintenance tasks such as inventory and display upkeep.
11. Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.

Qualifications

1. Sales or service experience preferred.
2. Education in design, trade school, or hands-on experience preferred.
3. Proficiency in design software like 20-20, Pro Kitchen, or Chief Architect is a plus.
4. Flexible schedule including retail hours and occasional evenings.
5. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
6. Ability to handle a fast-paced environment.
7. Computer skills with ability to learn company systems.
8. Satisfactory scores on relevant assessments.
