Overview

Gerhard's Kitchen, Bath & Lighting Store is seeking a creative, energetic, and ambitious sales and design professional to develop and build relationships with new and existing customers, delivering a design experience that reflects the Gerhard's brand. Responsibilities

• Drive sales to meet and exceed targets set by the Store Manager
• Conduct daily follow-up on outstanding quotes
• Develop repeat sales, new relationships, and future business
• Ensure outstanding customer service by providing a friendly, professional environment, greeting and acknowledging every customer, and maintaining high standards during the customer experience
• Follow-up on all sales to ensure customer satisfaction
• Maintain a well-organized and aesthetically pleasing environment
• Administer sales processes for timely and accurate completion, including processing quotes and paperwork
• Coordinate with vendors and shippers to track orders and ensure quality service
• Continuously develop sales skills and product knowledge through internal resources and vendor programs
• Assist with store maintenance tasks such as inventory and display upkeep
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership

Qualifications

• Sales or service experience preferred
• Relevant education or hands-on experience in design or related fields
• Proficiency in 20-20, Pro Kitchen, or Chief Architect is a plus
• Flexible schedule, including retail hours and occasional evenings for events
• Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with clients of varying knowledge levels
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment
• Computer skills and ability to learn business systems
• Effective communication skills
• Satisfactory scores on Wonderlic or Caliper assessments
