Job summary

Longo's in Vaughan, Ontario invites applications for a Kitchen Assistant Department Manager to lead a fast-paced food service team within our store retail environment and help drive daily operations, scheduling, and product presentation to enhance the customer experience.

You will motivate and mentor Team Members, participate in regular team meetings, coach staff to maintain high productivity, uphold health and safety policies, manage inventory and merchandising to meet financial objectives, and

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience in a food service department or similar role.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to build relationships with Team Members and Customers.
• Ability to lead, coach, and motivate in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient computer skills and ability to learn new systems quickly.
• Strong communication and listening skills.

Position: Kitchen Assistant Department Manager - Full Time

This is your opportunity to advance your career in a leadership role. As the Kitchen Assistant Department Manager, you will assist the Food Service Manager to ensure that the department is prepared for daily operations.

Work Environment:

• Work is performed in a store retail environment
• Must be available to work days, evenings and weekends
• Travel is required to support off-site events
