Longo's in Vaughan, ON is seeking a Bakery Assistant Department Manager - Full Time to lead daily bakery operations with passion for food and exceptional teamwork.

You will support the Bakery Manager, mentor team members, ensure health and safety standards, manage inventory, and deliver outstanding customer service while meeting store objectives and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1-year experience in a bakery department with product knowledge.
• Ability to decorate cakes and pastries.
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to build relationships with Team Members and Customers.
• Ability to lead, coach, motivate and work in a fast paced environment.
• Strong computer skills and ability to quickly learn new systems.
• Ownership to resolve issues with a sense of urgency.
• Effective communication and listening skills.
• Strong creativity skills and ability to create eye catching displays.
• Ability to role model and inspire behaviour consistent with our values.
