Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to) :

The Kitchen Assistant position is responsible for supporting the Olive & Fig team by performing various kitchen duties and is a key member of our team. The role will expand and develop as our company grows. Initially, the position’s primary responsibilities will be :

  • Prepping and storing ingredients for preparation of our grazing boxes and platters.
  • Slicing cured meats using our meat slicer and cutting cheese to our standard sizes.
  • Receiving and organizing inventory deliveries.
  • Periodic local travel for supplementary food items.
  • Consistently following task lists and quality standards.
  • Adhering to product presentation guidelines and aesthetics.
  • Maintaining a clean work environment.

Experience and Qualifications :

  • Exceptional organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude and ability to work independently.
  • The ability to react with appropriate levels of urgency to situations and events.
  • Must be able to lift up to 40lbs, bend, and reach.
